Artist History
1987 – Left a chemical factory to take up Art full-time
1988 – Turned professional and was highly acclaimed at Laing Gallery in Newcastle
1989 – Won the Frank Forrest Award for portrait work
1990-1993 – Highly Commended each year for my artistic contribution to the Laing Gallery
1994 – Awarded for a Work of Special Merit in the Shipley Gallery
1995 – By this time had built up a successful business and reputation
1996 – Moved from the North-east to Devon
1997 – Opened the Plains Gallery in Totnes
1998 – Daughter, Eve was born and started to study with the Open University
1999 – Son, Max was born
2000 – Closed Plains Gallery and started to study full-time for a Degree
2001-2003 – Studying for Art/Media Studies course whilst working as an Art Tutor and designing new Art courses for various colleges
2004 – Graduated from the College of St Mark and St John with BA Honors Degree
